Roger AnthonyLAWRENCEThis is a special page dedicated to our dad xxxx Roger Anthony Lawrence 13th October 1946 - 28th September 2020
There are not enough ‘Hours in a day - Days in a week - Weeks in a month - Months in a year or Years in a lifetime’ to say all that we’d like to say, and express all that we feel for him. But with a few brief words we will try. He was selfless, kind and generous - always helping others to the end. Dad was one in a million who was adored and always making everyone smile and laugh. There are many ways to describe dad - brilliant sense of humour, life and soul of any party, loud and VERY selective hearing are to name a few!!!!
But first and foremost, he was a “Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandad, In-Law, Brother, Uncle to many and Friend to all”. We take solace in the fact that when dad passed, he would have known ‘He was our world and we were his, and that we loved each other with every beat of our hearts’. We are broken without him – he was OUR EVERYTHING - but he has not left us, he has gone to be with mum xx
Sadly, others are unable to attend dad’s funeral and we respectfully ask people not to turn up on the day, but please join us in thought by raising a glass in dads honour at 10am, Tuesday 20th October 2020.
We kindly ask that this page not be used for condolences for us, but for any thoughts, memories or stories you would like to share about dad.
Dad would not have wanted flowers, but always had a special place in his heart for St Peters Hospice. So if you wish please feel free to donate to St Peter's Hospice in his name by clicking the link below. (or copy and paste the link)
