With great sadness on Friday 5th April 2024. Derek, aged 75 years, of Longton, passed away at the RSUH whilst in the loving care of his family.

The dearly beloved Husband of Gillian, much loved and loving Dad of Paul, Karen, Robert and the late James, dear Father-in-law of Joanne, a devoted Grandad and Great-Grandad and a dearly loved Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle. Derek will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.

The funeral cortege will leave his home in Longton on Monday 29th April for service at SS Mary and Chad Church, Sandford Hill at 10.45am. Followed by Interment at Hartshill Cemetery. Would relatives kindly accept this the only intimation. Friends wishing to attend please meet at the Church.

Floral tributes in memory of Derek are welcome.

I can not believe it’s been 1year today Dad since you passed. We miss and love you so much. Every morning when i make a coffee and see our family pictures it makes so happy of all the fantastic memories we have of you but so sad you are no longer with us. Love you Dad Paul Karen & Robert xx

Our first Christmas without you , it was always a very special time of the year, especially when our treasured children were here, then the grandchildren & great grandchildren,you always said a added bonus we loved to see there faces ,we all miss you beyond words can say your motto lives on family first
