I was so shocked to hear that Barry had passed on, he always seemed to have more energy than the rest of us put together at the School of Computing and Mathematics. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to work there while Barry was the Dean of School. He had that wonderful gift of leadership without being heavy-handed and had a way of holding the School together balancing work and play. There were a lot of us so it wasn't an easy task. Thank you Barry, may you rest in peace with a nice glass of wine.
