Dearly loved brother to Cathy and Rawden, brother-in-law to Ian. A much loved uncle to Phineas, Posy, Tristan, Guy and their partners. Great Uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
Simon will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A professional and valued colleague. An inspirational college lecturer who cared greatly about education and the importance of sharing his extensive knowledge. Demonstrating how a good education can make a difference.
Simon had an eclectic mix of interests, including reading, music, cooking, sport especially Welsh rugby. He was particularly passionate about politics.
A note from Anne. "Simon, thank you for the 19 fantastic years we shared together. I have so many wonderful memories of the love, laughter, holidays, the knowledge you shared and the precious moments we spent together. I will cherish our memories forever, and I will love you always X".
A celebration of Simon's life will take place at West Lancashire Crematorium on Saturday 5th September 2026 at 11:30am. Simon requested smart formal attire with a splash of red or green to acknowledge the Welsh flag.
