Simon was someone I only had the privilege of knowing for a relatively short time, but in that time he made a lasting impression on me.

It is difficult to believe that he has been taken from us so suddenly after such a short illness. Some people touch your life over many years, while others manage to leave their mark in a much shorter time — Simon was one of those people.

He will be remembered with great fondness, and although I wish I had known him for longer, I feel very fortunate to have known him at all.

Rest in peace, Simon. You will be greatly missed.

To my wonderful Uncle Simon.
You were more than an uncle figure to me , you were the very best I could ever have asked for. I could not have wished for anyone better. You were loved by so many, and your wisdom and knowledge have been such a gift. Thank you for everything you taught me, and for all the kindness you gave. I will hold you close in my heart always. Rest peacefully now. ❤️
