John EdwardLEYSHONSuddenly died at home on Thursday 29th August 2024, aged 87 years.

Loving eldest son of the late Ted and Mary Agnes Leyshon, dearly loved father of Tony, John Edward, Martin and Angela, father-in-law of Barbara, Alison and Susan, caring friend of Mick, cherished grandad of Lindsey, John, Katie, Michael, Simon, Andrew, Emma, Abigail and Bethany, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and friend to many.

"In our hearts you will always stay, loved and missed every day."

The family would sincerely like to thank Dr Simon Ashwell and all the team at the Diabetes Care Centre, also the wonderful team of District Nurses who cared for Ted over the years.

A Requiem Mass is to be held on Tuesday 10th September in St Francis Roman Catholic Church at 1.00pm, followed by burial in Thorntree Roman Catholic Cemetery at 2.30pm.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Diabetes UK can be made at the service.
