Peacefully on 12th September 2024 aged 87 years Thelma.

Beloved wife of Ronald, much loved mother to Christopher and Joanne, dear mother-in-law to Deborah and David and devoted grandma to Olivia and Alexander.

Funeral Service at Mountsett Crematorium on Wednesday 25th September at 2:45pm.

Would friends please meet at Crematorium.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Hospice at Home (cheques payable to Gateshead Health Charity) c/o Martin Rankin Funeral Directors 7 The Square, Front Street, Whickham, NE16 4JB.

All welcome afterwards at The Owl and Otter.

Thelma and Ronnie were close friends of my parents, Ron and Betty Heslop, for many years. Thelma was very supportive when they passed away in 2020 and kept in touch with me by phone and card as I live on the Surrey/Sussex border. I always enjoyed our chats and will always remember her kindness.
Rest in peace dear Thelma.

I worked with Thelma in Barclays Whickham years ago and have very fond memories of her in the branch and also in her work with Christian Aid week collection with St Mary's Church. My sincere condolences to Ron and the family at this sad time.
