PhilipLIGHTOf Weston Coyney, formerly Barlaston.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Light. Phil passed away peacefully at the Royal Stoke University Hospital on Thursday 29th February 2024, aged 74 years.

A loving and devoted husband of 54 years to Ann. A wonderful and caring Dad to Tracy and good friend to Dawn. A much loved son of the late Mabel and Reginald Light. A dear son-in-law to the late Marie and William Johnson. Phil was one of eight children and leaves behind sisters Pauline, Pat, Joan, Pam, Susan and brothers Reggie and David. He was also a much loved brother-in-law and uncle. An exceptional friend and neighbour to so many. Phil will be missed deeply by all that knew him. He kept his amazing sense of humour, right up until the very end.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday 27th March 2024, Carmountside Crematorium at 12:00 mid-day. Would all those wishing to attend please meet the family at the Crematorium.

Donations to The City Dogs Home in Phil's memory will be gratefully received.
