Frances StellaLONGAnother year has passed since I lost my beloved Frances Stella, a loving, kind, caring, generous lady who was the love of my life and will be forever. My words seem quite inadequate to me and she was indeed a bright, shining star to all who knew her. Above all, she was my constant loving companion, friend and mentor who took great care of me - and all those she met. Stella did not like to make plans - perhaps the prospect of disappointment was the basis for her fear of plans but she made quite sure that I would be able to follow the guidance she gave me. Stella believed that I would cope with life and took every opportunity to ensure that her preparations were totally understood. Such love, care and devotion and selflessness were the hallmark of her nature - little wonder that those who knew her also loved and cared for her too. I am reminded, as always, by 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13, especially verse 13 And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is love. Stella gave me that love - unquestioning and without conditions - for all time. With all my love and gratitude for the life and love of Frances Stella, the love of my life. With my everlasting Love Gordon
