Dear Auntie Josie,We are with you on this difficult day and through these times of solace and prayer, holding you close in our hearts as we remember Uncle Bernard, whose presence will be deeply missed. His kindness, humour, and unwavering love will never be forgotten.I recently told Uncle Bernie how much I admired his strength through his health challenges, and without hesitation, he replied, “No, it’s not me, Justin—it’s your Auntie Josephine who is the strong one!” His devotion to you was profound, a true testament to the love you shared.Through your trust and love, Uncle Bernie became an irreplaceable part of our family, bringing joy, wisdom, and countless cherished memories. Behind every great man is an incredible woman, and you are that woman—a mother, auntie, grandmother, great grand mother, and the beautiful relationship with a sister whose presence is a pillar of strength and love for you, which absolutely goes both ways, special in many ways.Though sorrow is heavy, please remember that we are here for you, always. Uncle Bernie would want nothing more than for you to find happiness and continue forward with the strength he so admired in you. Our home is your home, our door is always open, and our love and support remain unwavering. Rest In Peace Uncle Bernie & continue to Rest In Peace Cousin Jeffrey, always in our thoughts & loving memories. With our deepest sympathy, heartfelt love, and hope for brighter days ahead, Justin, Helen & Layla xxx
