BernardLONGAIRBernard Longair, who passed away peacefully in Heathfield Nursing Home after a long battle with dementia.

The family is very grateful to all staff who looked after him during his illness.

He's finally back with the love of his life Sarah (aka Ray Chambers) Longair.

The funeral service will be held at Masonhill Crematorium at 2.45pm on Thursday 18th April.

Got a shock this morning (1.5.24). After speaking with my wife Ann, Bernard's name cropped up in connection with bowling and that we hadn,t seen him or Ray for a while. Looked on line and this obituary came up. So sorry to learn of their passing. They were a great pair and will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends.

Was saddened to hear of uncle Bernard's passing. He was such a gentleman. Never have I met such a well suited loving couple as Aunt Ray and Uncle Bernard. My thoughts are with you all xx
