JohnLONGMIREPassed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side, at Queen's Hospital on 16th December 2024, aged 97 years.

Devoted husband to the late Doreen. Dearly loved father to June, David, and the late James. Dear father-in-law to Pete, Sharon and Melody. Treasured grandad and great-grandad to Nicola, Joshua, Polly, Finley, Aengus, Eilís, Nevan, Johnny, Liam and Georgia.

Funeral Wednesday 22nd January, service 10:00am in the Willow Room at Bretby Crematorium.

Floral tributes welcome. Donations in memory of John will support Stroke Association and Cancer Research UK, and can be placed in the collection box at the service.
