Still cannot believe you’re gone. I just want to be winding you up again with you telling me off that I’m scoffing all of yours and mums food out the cupboards. “Tell him Marl, he’s got our bloody biscuits!” We had such a laugh! You always had everyone laughing. I miss you and love you so much. Always be in my thoughts Dad!
Matt xx

This is you in a nutshell ❤️

He never looked for praises
He was never one to boast
He just went on quietly working
For the ones he loved the most.
His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few
And most of the time his worries
Went unspoken too. He was there...
A firm foundation
Through all our storms in life
A sturdy hand to hold on to
In times of stress and strife.
A true friend we could turn to
When times were good or bad
One of our greatest blessings
The man that we called Dad.

Life Lessons
You may have thought I didn’t see,
Or that I hadn’t heard,
Life lessons that you taught to me,
But I got every word.
Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we’d grow apart,
But Dad, I picked up everything,
It’s written on my heart.
Without you, Dad, I wouldn’t be
The woman I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.
I’ve grown up with your values,
And I’m very glad I did;
So here’s to you, dear father,
From your forever grateful kid
Anna ❤️

Dad,
You held my hand when I was small
You caught me when I fell
You are the hero of my childhood
And my later years as well
And every time I think of you
My heart still fills with pride
Though I will always miss you Dad
I know you're by my side
In laughter and in sorrow
In sunshine and in rain
I know you're watching over me
Until we meet again.
You will always be my hero Dad.
Love Karen xxx
