PhilomenaLYNCHPhil passed away peacefully with Rita, Mike, Robert and Barbara by her side, after a short illness in James Cook Hospital, on 21st February, aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Tony Lynch. Much loved Mum of Mary and Rita, cherished mother-in-law of Mike and the late Leslie. An adored and loved Little Granny to Edd, Emma-Jane, Will and Anaya. Also, a loved Auntie and Great Auntie to many wonderful nephews and nieces. As well as a kind and witty friend to all who knew her.
Requiem Mass to take place at The Holy Name of Mary Church, Middlesbrough, on Friday 21st March 2025 at 12.00 noon, prior to interment at Acklam Cemetery. Friends, please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer's Research UK.
A special thank you to the staff at Kirkley Lodge Care Home in Coulby Newham for their care and patience. Phil touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.
