EwenMACINTOSHwho starred as Keith in The Office has died at the age of 50.
The comedy actor played oddball character Keith Bishop in the UK version of the classic sitcom starring Ricky Gervais. Ewen's character was at the centre of iconic comedy moments throughout the series including dressing as Ali G. Ricky Gervais, co-creator of The Office, was one of the first to pay tribute to Ewen as the news of his death broke.
Ewen, who went on to have roles in Little Britain, Eastenders, and The Lobster after The Office ended in 2003, didn't offer any further updates on his health after his hospital selfie in 2022.
Ewen starred in The Office from its first series in 2001 until the sitcom came to an end in 2003, playing the role of an old ball accountant with a passion for Scotch eggs. Speaking about the role in an interview with Vice in 2021, the actor joked that he had no idea why Scotch eggs were chosen as his signature food.
