Angus LamontMACKINNONOn January 30th 2025 peacefully at his home in Bodmin after a short illness so bravely borne, aged 74 years. A proud Highlander, originally from the Isle of Skye who passionately served families in the community for over 30 years as a Funeral Director and owner of Bodmin Funeral Services.

Beloved husband of Paula, a much loved dad, grandad, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, son-in-law, colleague and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private funeral will be held at Angus' request, donations if desired in his memory to Marie Curie may be sent c/o Bodmin Funeral Services, Old Wall Lodge, Castle Canyke Road. PL31 1DU.

Such sad news for so many ,especially thinking of Paula and their family. What a caring service you gave to so many in the last 30 years inc my best friend when she lost her dear husband. You always gave so much in your job which made greiving that little bit easier thank you for being so supportive to our community. A true gentleman RIP

Paula and Angus were wonderful , caring neighbours to me years ago and helped me out in a difficult time . He was the most amazing , kind man who I feel privileged to have known . So gutted to hear this sad news and my heart goes out to Paula and loved ones at this difficult time. Love Ceri and children xx
