I was deeply saddened to hear of Charlie’s passing. As a fellow immigrant from Sicily, we shared an understanding of the opportunities and responsibilities that come with building a life in a new country. He embodied that spirit every day through his passion, determination, and tremendous work ethic. His success in business was matched by his devotion to family and the many friendships he cultivated over the years. He inspired those around him not only by what he achieved, but by how hard he worked and how generously he shared his time and wisdom. I feel fortunate to have known him and will remember him with great respect and gratitude. He will be deeply missed and long remembered.
