JohnMARTIN DAVISof Huncoat passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 12, aged 81 years.
Partner of Valerie, former husband of Maralyn, father of Geoff and Steve, father-in-law of Darren and Emma. Dear step-dad to Vanessa and Tracy, step-grandad to Max, Amber and Edie. A great companion to Mollie the dog and a dear friend to many. A loved and respected partner, brother, father, father-in-law, step-father, step-grandad, uncle and great-uncle.
John was a retired shoe maker, he served his time at Clark’s Shoemakers in Street, Somerset, latterly he supplied shoe components to a lot of outlets in Rossendale and various others. He was a season ticket holder for Accrington Stanley and enjoyed watching home matches. He also enjoyed watching snooker with his friends at their club in earlier days.
A service and committal will be held at
Accrington Crematorium on
Wednesday, October 25 at 1pm.
