Edward (Ted)MAXWELLTed Maxwell of Greenbank Park, Rawtenstall passed away on Tuesday 12th December, aged 80 years.
Ted died peacefully at home with his family after living with a long illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday 29th December at 2.30pm at Burnley Crematorium conducted by Celebrant Richard Whiteley. Everyone is invited to join the family after the service at The Whitaker in Rawtenstall for refreshments and to share memories of Ted.
Ted was a proud Scot who moved to England in the 1980s. He worked in the textile industry for all of his life. He enjoyed football, both playing and watching and was a season ticket holder at his beloved Burnley FC for over 20 years. Ted liked to spend time at his allotment, walking and socialising with friends. He was a dedicated family man who will be missed by many.
Ted leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Jo, and children Tom, Alex and Joseph.
Family flowers only please. Donations will be split between the Friends Reminisce Dementia Support Group, and Rossendale Hospice.
