Thankyou to a passionate and inspiring music teacher. Paul's influence during my 6th form studies started me on the way to my music career, for which I'm very grateful. He made music and shared music his whole life - a life well-lived and a wonderful gift to the world.

Paul was my online friend for many years, I think since around 2003 we more or less kept in touch via messages everyday. Although our friendship was online, we also sent each other cards at Christmas and Birthdays. He offered support and advice throughout the years and I offered my support, including helping him with taking pictures. I will miss your wise advice and support and just being there to send a message to everyday. My deepest sympathy goes to everyone who knew Paul including his friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending love from way up here in County Durham. Dominic and Ollie xx

We are so very sad at the loss of Paul - such an extraordinary and lovely man. We count ourselves very fortunate indeed to have known him and to have enjoyed his company, which was just the best.
