A Tribute to Kath ✨💌
Kath, your love was a light that touched so many lives 🕊️ - especially those of your daughters, who were your world. You gave selflessly, pouring your heart into helping troubled youth, even when it meant giving more of yourself than you had to give. You were a woman of boundless compassion, a heart so full of kindness that it inspired everyone around you. Your love for animals was just another reflection of the gentle, nurturing soul you were.
Though you left us too soon, your legacy lives on 🕊️ - not just in the memories we hold dear, but in the lives you continue to touch. By choosing to be an organ donor, you have given the gift of hope to others, allowing five or more people to experience the world, the love, and the joy that you so generously shared. For those who will, because of you Kath have another chance & your kindness lives on in the most beautiful way.
To your family 🕊️ - your daughters, Mum, partner, your loved ones - I want you to know this: I will always look after your Niamh, my daughter-in-law. She is my bonus daughter, and just as I have always protected and cherished her, I will do so even more now. I promise to honor Kath’s memory by being the steady, loving presence she was to her girls.
Kath, you are now in the arms of Jesus ✝️ where there is only joy, peace, and a heaven so glorious we can barely imagine it ✨. Death is not the end, it’s a transition, a moment where we close our eyes here and open them there. And oh, what a glorious day that will be when we are all reunited. Until then, we will keep your memory alive, celebrating the incredible woman you were. We will talk about your kindness, your strength, and the love that defined you. And we will hold your daughters close, just as you would want.

Revelation 21:4
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away”

Kath, where do I even start. The first time I met you was around 12 years ago as I had joined the team as an IF worker, I always looked up to you at work because you were never afraid to say exactly what you thought! We had some giggles at the Civic offices didn’t we, your laugh was so infectious 🥲. We soon became really good friends. You had the patience of a saint listening to my troubles, my hen party where we all dressed up, you looked beautiful and when you convinced me to try cave man training with you 😅. One of my memories that stands out to me was the day of my separation, I came into the office, you were sat behind me and I didn’t need to say a word, I just felt your arms come around me to comfort me. Our girls Grace and Molly have shared numerous sleepovers, Moll loved it because you’d take her to the stables and then to Maccies! We haven’t seen each other much over the last couple of years, with one thing or another, our busy lives, our struggles but we were always there for each other and when we did see each other we would just go back to how we were! That’s true friends for you. Kath, you made a massive impact on my life, not many people “get me” but you did, you always did and I will be forever grateful.
Rest peacefully my friend, you will be forever missed Kath ❤️
