Christina MayMCEWAN(née McWilliam) (Chrissie) Laurence, Angela and Lesley-Ann are heartbroken and devastated to announce the passing of their beloved Mother "Chrissie".

Christina May McEwan née McWilliam of New Abbey, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family in the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary on Sunday 22nd December 2024.

A much loved Mum, Mum-in-Law to Willie, Mark and Nikki, cherished Granny to Caroline, Laura, Rachel, Brooke, Erin, Kloe and the late Brad. Great Granny to Lexi and Willow. Sister, Sister-in-Law, Auntie, Colleague and Friend. Chrissie will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.

A service to celebrate Chrissie's life will take place on Tuesday 14th January at 11:00am in New Abbey Church followed thereafter by an interment in New Abbey cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired will be collected at the service in aid of SANDS and Shebburn Surgery.

Chrissy was a lovely lady I was honoured to call my mother in law. She loved it when I took to see Daniel O Donnell on a few occasions.
Had great memories in all the years I knew her and know Caroline and Laura worshipped the ground.
May she rest in peace.
Always be in my and the girl's hearts xx
