Ian StuartMCFARLANEOf Alvaston Passed away suddenly at home on Monday 13th July 2026. Aged 69 years Much loved dad to Victoria and Craig, loving grandad to Maddison, Ellis, Matilda, Freya, Anneliese and Nancy, father in law to Simon, brother to Jane, Robert, William and the late Jimmy and John. Ian will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

A Celebration of Ian's life will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Tuesday 11th August at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please, however donations in loving memory of Ian to benefit Help For Heroes, may be made online by visiting funeral-notices.co.uk or may be placed in the donation box at the Service.

It was sad to hear that Ian had passed, I worked at PTF while Ian was on the Heavy Gang, We didn't always get on but both being DCFC fans always smoothed out our differences, Last saw him in the Noah's Ark we had a couple of beers, Caught up on DCFC and our old workmates.

We have known Ian for such a long time.So sad to hear of his passing.Our thoughts are with your family at this sad time.Rest in peace Ian.Such a lovely man.
