RobertMCKAYMr Robert Allan McKay, of Clowne, has passed away at home, aged 88.
Born at Overbrae Fisheries, Scotland and a resident locally for 28 years, since retirement.
Robert enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, writing poems, playing his accordion, attending the Caledonian Society, of which he was President before lockdown.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Jean. He leaves daughter Julie Trzupek, son Robert McKay, and 3 step-daughters, five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 11.10am.
