Kevin TerenceMCMULLENIt is with the greatest sadness and heartache we announce the passing of Kevin, aged 79.
Kevin passed away, as he wished, surrounded by his wife, his girls and loyal friends. Beloved husband of Karen for 39 years, devoted and loving daddy to Dolly, Rose and Miriam, and best Dar in the world to his 3 grandchildren, Zion, Gaia and Zuri.
Kevin was a dear, loyal friend to so, so many throughout the years. We shall mourn his loss, but more so we shall celebrate his existence and contribution. It will take a lifetime to meet his like again. Kevin was filled with love, kindness, warmth, compassion, understanding, humour, wisdom and true friendship.
We don’t love you with our Hearts and mind, We love you with our Souls, in case our minds forget and our hearts stop.
How we shall miss you so. Rest in peace, you were the best of men. Vaya con Dios Sail well my Mc, sail well Daddy, sail well Dar.

Funeral to be held Friday 21st March, 11am at St. Anthony’s Church, Scotland Road, then burial at Ford cemetery at 12.30pm.
Kevin will be resting at Bannons funeral parlour, the Whitehouse, Broadgreen Road, L13 5SF then at his home. All enquiries to Sue 0151 226 6653

KEVIN TERENCE MCMULLEN

It is with a deep heavy heart we send our deepest condolences to Karen and Family on the death of our beloved Uncle Kevin.

We are all devastated as the last of the McMullen clan has died.

Uncle Kevin was the 9th child and last son to be born to Julia and Patrick McMullen.

Now for the first time in over 100 years the last of the McMullen's have gone from Scotland Road.

For many years Uncle Kevin went away to sea as a young man travelling the world and returning with many stories.

He was funny, loyal, and a great business man who worked constantly all his life and he loved his family. He was respected by all who knew him.

Myself and many of our 50 cousins worked in his pubs with Auntie Jennifer at The Honky Tonk’ where we did have the best years of our lives, full of fun and learning. The place was packed and Scotland Road was alive and kicking A place where you could not move on a Monday night when the song contest was on and my grandma sang her favourite songs on sunny nights when the doors were wide open. Uncle Kevin would play his favourite song on the Juke box ‘Me and Bobby McGee’. We all loved to dance, including all the patrons in the pub, in a place of sanctuary for the proud hardworking class people of the area.

Uncle Kevin is a loss to us all as he is reunited with his beloved parents and his 9 brothers and sisters. The Circle has closed as they are all together now. He is held in the arms of all his siblings and parents. Just like the good old days.

May he rest in peace as we send love and blessings to a great Uncle. God bless him always from his nieces and nephews.

- Maggie’s kids in Kirkby All The Duncalf’s we will never forget him. xxxxxxxxx
