SallyMEECHAfter an illness bravely fought with dignity and courage, with her family by her side,
Sally sadly passed away in the care of
St Andrew’s Hospice Grimsby, on 15th January 2025.

A very dearly loved daughter of Rita and the late Dennis Meech.
Cherished sister of Wendy.
An amazing friend and colleague to many around the world, and a devoted lifelong friend to Gill, Sharon, and Harry as well as many other family friends whose bonds she deeply treasured.

Sally made life just that little bit brighter and If you were lucky enough to meet Sally you would know she was beautiful inside and out.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dance in peace, Sally, among the stars
and with the angels.

A celebration of Sally’s life will take place at
Grimsby Crematorium, on
Wednesday 5th February 2025 at 12.45pm.
Sally would have encouraged everyone to wear
what made them happy.

Family flowers only please by request.
Donations in Sally’s memory may be sent to
St Andrew’s Hospice Grimsby.

A donations box for this charity will also be available after the service in the Garden of Remembrance.

The family would like to thank Dr Bozos and his oncology nurses, the community nurses,
the Haven team, Macmillan, and especially
the St Andrew’s Hospice team of Doctors,
nurses and volunteers for their wonderful care
and support in looking after Sally.

What a wonderful kind, fun person. I remember when QE2 docked for the night in Dubai and you came and collected myself and Maria to go dancing of course.
We had such fun but I couldn't keep up 😀😀. And then we went to the beach together. I never forget the amazing times we shared. Thank you xxx
