Eelin Katriona McKayMEGSONOn January 24th 2024, suddenly but peacefully at Calderdale Royal Hospital. Eelin aged 68 years of Milnsbridge and formerly of Edinburgh, a former inspirational teacher and respected head teacher.

Beloved wife of Graham, wonderful mum to Sam and Jess, dear mother-in-law of Chris and brilliant and enthusiastic grannie of Lucas and Leo. A new star shining in the sky, Eelin will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Service at St Thomas's Church, Longroyd Bridge on Monday February 26th at 11.30am followed by Committal at Huddersfield Crematorium at 1.15pm.

Will friends please accept this the only intimation. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to UNICEF for which a plate will be provided at the Service.

Treasured memories of a special friend when our children attended St John’s. Eelin was an amazingly gifted musician. We send our deepest condolences to Graham, Sam and Jessica. Eelin will always be remembered for the wonderful lady and special friend for many years - love Sheila, Anthony, Laura & Shelley xx
