Margaret was my big cousin, but when I was a kid I always thought of her as my aunt, due to the age difference. My mum was Katie Smith. Margaret was my aunt Agnes and Uncle Harry's daughter
I always remember her as a lovely, kind and smiling person.
When we moved away from Paisley many many years ago, we didn't lose touch as such, but this was mostly limited to Christmas cards.
When these stopped a few years ago I wondered what had happened to Margaret, but not sure who to contact to find out Now I am saddened to learn of her death, and regret so much that I never made the effort to find out.
