Harry JoelMELLORPassed away peacefully at home on 6th September 2022, aged 88 years after a long illness bravely borne. Formerly of Thurgoland, Shepley, Emley, Netherton, and Aldbrough. The dearly loved husband of Pauline, beloved dad, stepdad, father-in-law, grandad, great grandad, dear brother and uncle, and friend to many. Harry was quite the character and will be greatly missed. Funeral service to be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Thursday 13th October at 12.15pm followed by a reception and celebration of life. The family would like to thank the Kirkwood Palliative Care Team, the doctors and staff at Slaithwaite Health Centre, and the Caremark Carers, who all looked after Harry so well. Family flowers only please. If wished, donations may be given in Harry's name to Kirkwood Hospice.
