CareenMITCHELL, of West End, Oswaldtwistle, passed away on March 29, aged 78 years.
She was previously a weaver at John Burns Factory, a fitter at ROF, ran the play group at West End for over 10 years and was home help for Lancashire County Council.Careen loved reading, socialising, watching TV especially sports, IPL Cricket was her favourite, she also enjoyed quiz shows, Bargain Hunt and making hanging baskets.
Careen was married to her late husband Harry for nearly 50 years, she leaves behind her son Jason, sister Jaqueline and her brother Fran.
A service will be held on Friday, April 19, 11am at Accrington Crematorium, conducted by Kathy Unsworth.
