Brian. Grandad. The legend.

The long conversations we had. The quiet ones too!

A man of many trades, need a tool? He had that and could help.

The passion and love for his cars. Keep it clean and care for it!

Constantly cracking jokes and always a smile that could light up a room.

Thankyou for giving your blessings. You know what for.

Thankyou for trusting me with your beloved car it was an honour to know you knew I'd take care of it as you did.

The final laughs, the final jokes. The last smile.Whilst a tough experience they will forever be memories to treasure for a lifetime

Promises to keep. Promises to honour.

Forever in my heart and mind!

Goodnight godbless

Brian,
I'm really going to miss our chats about our cars and things we've both achieved,
I Just wanted you to know the promise I made to you years ago, that promise was to always care for both my lovely wife Pauline and my daughter Grace,
They will always be loved and cared for,
Night night Brian x

More than a father in law
I remember the first time I came to your door. I was so nervous.
Then in your garage you gave me permission to marry your first born daughter. Thank you for letting me call you dad and you called me son you will always be remembered with love Kevin.

In the photo i am safely held in your arms Daddy and looking directly into your eyes and your eyes are looking into mine..
So when you Daddy fell peacefully asleep forever it was quite fitting that you were safely in mine..and 10 mins before you went to sleep for the last time our eyes locked again as you spoke to me in deep love those precious words for both of us..that just seeing my reply to you brought instant peace to you face brings much joy in this sadness..i shall never forget that what a blessing and a great priviledge it was to witness..
Both Lynn and myself held your hands as we kept telling you how much we loved you and that it was okay for you to leave us..and that your Mum and Sister were calling you and that you better go or else you'll be in trouble..
It was quick and surreal but was so beautiful because you were at peace as you took your final breath..
It was so sad to hear your last words to us..
'I've had enough..promise me please don't be sad at my graveside'..
It was so painful Daddy to feel you slip away..but both Lynn and myself see it as your last precious gift to us..a special moment..a special blessing to hold onto the dark days when we find it hard to bear or cope with..
The healing process of grief is always on going..not easy at times..
You didn't stand alone Daddy which we knew you feared so much..we took your hands and helped you to stand..it fills us both with a Peace that passes all understanding..knowing you went to sleep for the very last time here with us peacefully..
Sleep well my Daddy..
I Love you so much..
Rest well..
Until i see you again God Bless..
