Rest in Peace, Jonathan. I worked with him at Motorola Swindon in 2000 when I was temporary assigned there for 4 months. I just came across this notice while reading a Facebook page of ex-Motorolans. Jonathan was a great colleague and a friend. I got to see him one last time when I returned to the UK for a visit in 2005. Farewell Jonathan.

Jonathan lived a full life. He was widely-travelled and had a great interest in the different cultures in which he lived. He made many friends along the way, maintaining these friendships for years after. I knew him from our youth; he was always interested in what I was up to and remembered the names, interests and career progressions of all my family. A thoughtful, sincere man, generous with his time and interest in those he knew. I was glad to include Jonathan among my friends. Ar dheis Dè go raibh a anam.
