We are saddened to announce the passing of Barbara Moore, on 11th June 2026, at Evedale Care Home, at the age of 88.
Barbara was born in Stockton-upon-Tees, and graduated from Nottingham University in 1959. She and her husband, George Moore, made their home in Coventry, where Barbara taught at Ravensdale Primary School, later moving to various roles in education, including the Minority Group Support Service.
In retirement, Barbara was a passionate supporter of her local Community, and helped many local people both personally, and through her work with the Gosford Park Residents' Association.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth, Antony and Christopher.
Barbara donated to several charities close to her heart, in particular The Coventry Cat Group, and YMCA. Any donations to these charities in her name would be welcome.
