PhyllisMORAITMum, five years ago today you lost your battle with dementia and I miss you every day. You tried to be a good mum, but you were dogged by schizophrenia, too, and life wasn't easy for you. Not everyone understood and even I didn't understand at times but I loved you then, I love you now and miss you still. I hope you've found peace and you're happy with Dad. Eight years on today, you gave up the battle for life, Mum. I remember placing your Christmas card in your coffin and hoping you would find peace at last back with Dad, because when he passed you wanted to be with him. You got your wish and I hope you're both happy wherever you are now. Kiss him for us.
