Peacefully in hospital after a short illness, on 22nd July 2015, aged 88 years, Douglas, dearly loved husband of the late Jessie, much loved dad of John, Sheila and Janet, dear father-in-law of Liz, Brian and Andrew, devoted grandad of Ashleigh, Kirstie, Frances and Emily and loving great grandad of Evie, Luka and Finn. Funeral service at St. Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Whickham on Tuesday 28th July at 11.45am. Cremation to follow at Mountsett Crematorium at 12.30pm. Would friends please meet at church.
