It is with profound sadness that we announce the sad news of our Debra.
Debra sadly passed away in hospital on 31st May 2025, with her family, work colleagues and friends at her side. Eventually, at peace after a brave fight, fought with great courage.
It has been a tragically heartbreaking journey for all who knew Debra.

The devoted daughter of the late Hughie and Kathleen, loving sister to Scott and devoted auntie to Ben and Hanna. Beloved niece to Maureen and cousin to Sherrell. A much loved and treasured niece to Michael (John), Angela, and devoted cousin to James. Treasured best friend to Janet and her family. Treasured niece to the late Margaret and cousin to Charlene and her family in Ayrshire.
Loved and treasured shift partner to Ali. Beloved colleague and friend to Ashley, team leader, and the Reach and Responder family at Beyond Housing, Redcar.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be forever etched in our hearts.
Debra's presence touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

A Service of Celebration for the Life of our Debra will be held at St Hilda's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium on
Monday 23rd June at 11:30am, prior to cremation.
Friends please meet at St Hilda's Chapel.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Motor Neurone Disease Association and
Cancer Research UK. Retiring collection at the chapel.

I was so honoured to have Debbie as my best friend. She was like a sister to me & Auntie to my family. I have treasured memories of our time together & the mischief we caused as children & adults. She will always have a place in my heart and will be so deeply missed. RIP Debbie. Love Jan x
