David JohnMORTONDavid John Morton (Milly) died on Friday 5th June 2026 aged 71. Born in Sheffield, he made his home in Halmer End.
David will be forever loved and missed by his wife Susan, his children Samuel, Eleanor, Charlotte and Thomas, and grandchildren Calum, Shannon, Maisie, and Elara.
He was a thoroughly moral socialist, with incredible intellect, balanced with kindness and a genuine love for people. He will be missed by family and friends and who had the privilege of knowing him.
His legacy are his children who carry forward all that was good about him.
The funeral will take place at Keele Community Room, Keele Cemetery, Keele Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 5AB on Friday 26th June at 11:30am, followed by burial at Keele Cemetery.
The wake will take place at the New Vic Theatre at 2.00pm.
The family warmly invite all wishing to attend the service to meet at Keele.
