WOW 10 years have passed on by
Since I prepared to say goodbye,
But as I held your hand that night,
I whispered, please no longer fight.
I know you could hear me talk to you,
I said that grandad is waiting for you.
You made a noise and I shed a tear,
I believe that you could see him there.
I saw your soul leave & raise up high,
I knew right then it was goodbye.
But in my heart you are always there,
And everyday I feel you near.

Miss you everyday and grandad too
So when you visit bring grandad too
Love you both and I know you will both be looking after my brother Michael

I laid beside you and rested my head…

Upon the pillow of your bed

And as I did, I held your hand…

As you slipped away, to Angel Land

I felt you squeeze my fingers, and
heard you sigh…

As you said… farewell,,, goodbye

I’m glad I was there, for comfort and
love…

For you to take to heaven above

Saying goodbye, is what I have been dreading…

But to Grandad and Pippa you are
heading

For they were your love and life, here
on earth…

So from today your love together has
got a rebirth

For after death, we start a new life…

You will soon be reunited as husband
and wife

You may see me smile, even laugh or
weep…

But beneath all these, thousands of
memories I’ll keep

And when I’ll look in the skies above,
for the brightest star…

I’ll know your sending love from afar
