RayNICHOLASMr Ray Nicholas, of Bury Road, Rawtenstall, died at Ash Cottage, Edenfield, on Saturday, October 16, aged 86. Ray was a self employed electrician for R&A Nicholas Electricals all his working life. He did his apprenticeship at W H Good, Haslingden. In his younger years he liked to play golf. He enjoyed sea fishing, and loved his holidays in Tenerife, and spending time with his family. Ray was a member of the British Legion, Haslingden, and served his National Service with the RAF. Brother of the late Gladys, he leaves his wife Audrey, son Joseph, daughter-in-law Lindsay, sister Anne, half sister Eve, and his half brother Norman. The funeral will be held on Monday, November 1, at 12.15pm at Woodtop Chapel, Bury Road, Rawtenstall, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery at 1pm, led by Kathy Unsworth.
