My Aunt (not Aunty as she gentle reminded me as I got older – or was it as she got older!?!?), had a distinct charm and a love for the little things – her roses, cats, and our joint enthusiasm and excitement of visiting Boyes with her when we visited! Her chocolate biscuit tin was a highlight of every visit, a small tradition that always felt special – the dilemma of selecting just a Twix, Club or Penguin! Aunt Muriel always made you feel welcome, and her warmth lives on in those simple moments we’ll always remember.

In loving memory of Lynda’s mam and Rick’s mam-in-law. A classy lady who was always beautifully turned out and completely colour coordinated. She loved Hartlepool and being by the sea. She will be sadly missed. Rick and Lynda.

My dear sister Muriel, remembering the great time we had on our visit to Whitby some 15 years ago, you raced me up the 199 steps and was very pleased with yourself when you beat me. All of the holiday was fun with many happy memories. Distance kept us apart but frequent phone calls helped to close the gap . Love you always Barbara, Roy, Ruth and Paul
