Guy GeraldOAKLEYIt is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Guy, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, 1st August 2026.
A deeply loved and devoted husband to Claire, much-loved dad to Zak and Poppy, cherished brother to Sarah, a dear presence to Freya, Zak's girlfriend, and a loyal friend to many, Guy was the heart of his family.
His love, kindness, and unwavering support touched everyone who knew him. Nothing brought him greater happiness than the people he loved most, and he was immensely proud of Zak and Poppy.

Guy will be remembered for his warm heart, gentle nature, infectious sense of humour, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His kindness and strength will never be forgotten, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and love that will be cherished forever. He will always remain in our hearts and be missed every day.

Funeral service to take place on Thursday 27th August 2026 in Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium at 12:45 pm.

Family flowers only please, but donations if desired in Guy's memory to Coventry Myton Hospice on the day via the collection box at the service.

All enquires to A J Lloyd Funeral Directors, The Old Barn, Allesley Old Road, Coventry CV5 8GB

Taken far too young, Geeza was one of the top lads and someone who never had a bad word to say about anyone. I’ll always be grateful for the great memories we shared, from lads’ holidays to the good times at the Cedars.

A great friend who will be missed more than words can say. Thinking of Claire, Zack and Poppy, who he absolutely adored.

Rest easy, Geeza. You’ll never be forgotten. ❤️ Paul & Nicky Lyons ❤️

Dad You were someone I idolised, looked up to and was proud as to call my dad. You were, an amazing father to me and my sister, and a loving husband to Mum.
Some of my most favourite memories will always be you standing on the sidelines watching me play rugby. Having you there, supporting me and sharing those moments meant more to me than I could ever put into words.
We had so many funny times together too, and I’ll always smile thinking about the times you managed to get me out of trouble, the lads days we had together, our Spain trip and more. Those memories, along with all the incredible family holidays we shared, are moments I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Thank you, Dad for everything you gave us, for your love, your support, the laughs you gave us and for simply being you. I was so lucky to have you as my dad, I wish we had abit longer mate and I will miss you more than words can ever say. You will always be my best mate in life, and I will make you proud and carry everything you taught me with me forever.

Rest easy Dad x
Zak

Geeza had great fun over the years and even in the last few days a laugh was order of the day. A pleasure and a privilege to know you and your family. Cedars boys will do you proud on your last leg.

Guy was the kind of person that wanted nothing back. Selfless to his core, he gave his time, his heart, and his humour without ever expecting anything back. If you were lucky enough to be his friend he had your back to the the end.

He worshiped Claire, Zak and Poppy, who were the centre of his world. His love for them was the clearest thing about him — it showed in everything he did.

Those who knew Guy were fortunate. His kindness, warmth, and generosity will stay with everyone he touched. He will be deeply missed, and always remembered.

We was honoured to be his friend and honoured to be with him till the end.

Rest in peace Geez xxxx
