SidneyO'BRIENIt is with much sadness and regret that the family of the late Sid Anthony O'Brien announces his passing and funeral arrangements.
Sid came into this world on November 18th, 1946, and peacefully left us on June 9th, 2026, at his home, wrapped in the warmth and love of his family.
Sid was the beloved Husband of Margy, a devoted Dad to Jimmy, Lisa, Sean, Justin and Nicky. A cherished Grandad, Great-Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Father-in-law and Friend.
Our hearts are broken but we find comfort in knowing that the love he shared with us will leave a lasting imprint in our hearts. We will continue to speak of him with love and remember him always.

Sid will be resting with us in our family room in Kirkby from Tuesday, June 30th.
Sid will be returning home at 10am on the morning of his funeral to be with his family, ahead of his final journey and our hardest goodbye.
The funeral service will take place at St. Joseph and St. Lawrence RC Church, Kirkby, at 2:30 PM on Friday, July 3rd 2027, followed by a committal service at GreenAcres Rainford at 3:45 PM.
