MarionOGDEN**In Loving Memory of Marion Ogden, née Firth**
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Ogden, née Firth,
who died peacefully on 28th September 2026, at the age of 92,
under the care of Shaw Side Care Home in her hometown of Shaw, Oldham,
less than half a mile from the house in which she was born.
Marion was a much-loved mother, friend, and a dedicated primary school teacher.
For 40 years, she devoted herself to teaching at Stansfield Road Primary School in Failsworth,
touching the lives of generations of children with her care, patience, and dedication.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her,
and will be remembered with great affection.
The funeral service will be held at **Oldham Hollingwood Crematorium
on Wednesday, 14th October 2026, at 3:00 pm**.
Friends and all who knew her are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate Marion's life
and say our final farewell.
