Jerzy RomanOGRODZINSKI"George" 1920 - 2015 Aged 94 "Mosquito Pilot takes last flight home" Ex RAF and Polish Air Force Pilot George Ogrodzinski, passed away peacefully at home on Friday 9th January 2015, after losing his final battle with Pancreatic Cancer. George will be known to many in Shepshed, regularly "piloting" his mobility scooter whatever the weather. George will be greatly missed by his Wife Stella, Son Stefan, Daughter Petra and their families. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr Watson, the Shepshed District and Macmillan Nursing Teams and the Shepshed Care Teams, who reached out to the family in their time of need, providing exemplary end of life care for George in the last weeks and days.
