You truly are the kindest most caring woman I have ever known. The past 26 years I’ve had with you, you’ve filled for me with memories and laughter that will last my lifetime. Your smile would light up a room instantly and your laughter was so infectious. You are a fighter, someone who has endless hope and courage even on your darkest days. You always put your family first, often before yourself and I couldn’t be more grateful for you.

My childhood is filled with such amazing memories. I’ll never forget the day you walked me outside and you gave me my dream Christmas, two ponies, that were always on the top of my Christmas list. It was one of the happiest days of my life. All the memories of camping and going to haven, one In particular being when me and Meg were sunbathing and you threw a bucket of cold water over us. Our house was a safe space and an open door to all of our friends, because of you. You are a joker, someone who always found joy and happiness surrounded by her family. I am forever grateful for the life you have given me, and have you and my dad to thank for the person that I am today.

After I lost you, one of my thoughts were ‘who am I going to call now after a hard day at work’ or when I’m upset and need your advice. Then I look at all of our friends and family and know that I don’t have to worry at all.

Please know, that I will never stop fighting for you. I’ll never stop talking about you, telling them about the wonderful person that you are. I miss you more than any words can ever describe. Not a minute goes by that I’ve not thought of you, seen or heard something that reminds me of you.

Your strength, love and memory are the things that I will carry with me, always. You are the best mum I could’ve asked for and I am so lucky to have had you. You are more than just my mum, you are you are my best friend, my first teacher and my biggest inspiration in life. You are the very heart that I am today.
