Passed away on 2nd August aged 78.
Surrounded by the people who really mattered to him, his devoted children and family. Giving him the love, care, attention and compassion so essential at that time.

He will be missed equally by his extended family, all of whom recall him as a kind gentle soul, ever generous, caring and sharing, remembered with great affection and fondness as lovable, slightly eccentric Uncle Joe.
Born, raised and lived in Liverpool all his life, most notably in Litherland and Kirkby, Joe's friends will remember him from his early days in the Jubille pud in Litherland.
Service: English Martyrs, School Lane, Litherland, L21 7LX 12 noon on Thursday 20th August.
His lasting wish was to be buried with his mum and dad.
The burial will take place in:
Ford Cemetery, Gorsey Lane, Litherland at 1pm (through the main gate and turn left)
For those unable to attend the funeral. a short informal gathering will take place with family and friends at:
The Netherton Pub, Church Rd.
All who remember Joe, the good, bad and crazy-heady times are warmly invited to attend.
Old friends are welcome to share memories and stories and recall the good times gone by, and wonder at it going by so fast, too fast.
