Pop’s, I’ve only known you for the past eleven years but it feels like I’ve known you all of my life, it’s been a pleasure to have had the opportunity to become closer to you during this last year or so while Ian has been caring for you, I’ve enjoyed keeping you happy with your cups of ‘T’ and keeping you stocked up with your favourite toffees and eclairs, I’ll miss our trips out for fish and and chips (four chips and six peas) by the sea and for a slack ‘half’ a lager.
You’re a true gentleman, very charming with a great sense of humour too.
Feels very strange now you’re gone but I have lots of happy memories of times we’ve spent together.
Rest those blue eyes of yours properly now and sleep peacefully as you certainly deserve to.

Pops you were a big part of my life for many many years, always popping for a brew and a chat. Christmas dinners or Sunday dinner after popping to Hastings. Always ready to help in any way you could. This last year I have been able to repay your support by been able to help you stay at home where you loved to be. I have enjoyed our many nights of binge watching vikings, cowboy movies and listening to 70’s music on Echo. To say I feel lost now is an understatement and I miss you dearly.
