DorothyOWENIt is with deep sadness that the family shares the news of Dorothy's peaceful passing on 5th November 2025 aged 92 years at Baytree Court Care home in Scunthorpe.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard. Much loved mum of Michael and Kathryn. Loving Grandmum and Great Grandmum and lifelong friend of Joan.

A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held on Thursday 27th November 2025 at Woodlands Crematorium at 12.00.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Family flowers only please however donations made in Dorothy's memory are thankfully received for The Special Care Baby Unit at Scunthorpe General Hospital. These can be left following the service or sent c/o

Sorry to read that Dorothy has passed away and we send our condolences to her family, friends and former nursing colleagues. A gracious and funny lady who made us welcome when we moved into the area. Reunited with Bernard softens the loss. RIP Dorothy it was an honour to have known you.

So sad to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a lovely lady and so kind to us when our daughter was in SCBU. Our condolences to all the family.
