Ron, you played such a big part of my life, from a very young age you gave your time to take me out on many outings, I went to Wales with you and Mary to visit your mom & dad I was amazed by their little dogs and how you spoke in Welsh to them.
As the years went on we had our spells of trying to get fit running the canal in the evenings which was followed by an ice cream on the way home ! There are so many memories that I have.
I will miss our texts when the rugby is on …. You were always spot on as to who was going to win !!!
For such a quiet man you sure have left a massive void in our family that will never be filled.
You will be missed.
Thinking of Gail, Stuart and Finley at this time.
Rest in peace now Ron. Give Mary a big hug from me too.

Helen

To a dear person, our Uncle Ronnie, who was, as the youngest brother of 6 such support to my Pa in his final year, I know that it was fun for both of you travelling to Wales and reminiscing about stories and antics. For us, David and I, over the years, we all enjoyed a meal and a pint (or two) listening to your take on the world around us....and your fascination with The Bill. We will continue this tradition with Gail, Stuart and Finley and remember both Ronnie and Mary xx

Rest in peace Taffy Owen. Thank you for being so good to me when I was a kid. You gave up hours of your time driving miles entertaining myself and Helen. It was always a thrill to go out in a car. It was a huge treat that always ended with sweets or ice cream, and you were always so happy doing it. You were as delighted as us. I used to love watching the planes at Birmingham airport It was the best time ever. Us being so small and the planes so huge. It was awesome. Never forgotten those evenings out. Gail was truly blessed having such a loving, fun father.
I’ll always remember you for the fabulous times out. XX
