VelmaPALMERRetired Schoolteacher, Peaks Lane Primary School, New Waltham. Peacefully, on 26th March 2025, whilst in the care of the Diana Princess Of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, Velma, aged 91 years, sadly passed away. Beloved Wife of Rex. Cherished Mother of David and Susan. Dearest Mother-In-Law of Clare and Brian. A treasured Grandma of Alexander and Elicia. Velma was also a dearly loved Sister, Sister-In-Law, Aunt and Cousin. Velma was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A service to celebrate Velma's life will be held at All Saints Church, High Street, Waltham, DN37 0PN, on Wednesday 23rd April at 1pm. A private family committal will follow at the Grimsby Crematorium. Flowers will be gratefully accepted by Co-op Funeralcare, 55 Abbey Road Grimsby, DN32 0HN. Donations may be made in Velma's memory to The Guide Dogs For The Blind Association. A donations box for this chosen charity will be available outside the church after the service. The option to donate online is also available through funeralnotices.com.
