JohnPANTON(John's Bargains) Remembering John Panton (John's Bargains)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Panton on Monday, 3rd February 2025 at 8pm surrounded by his devoted family.

A true Tamworth legend and a staple of our town centre for over 40 years. John was best known for John's Bargains on George Street, which later became Roaster's Restaurant and it remained proudly owned by John and his wife Angie.

A sharp businessman with an even sharper tongue. John's colourful language - especially his favourite F-word was part of his charm. But beneath it all he was a loyal friend and a man who lived for his family.

John leaves behind his beloved wife, Angie, daughters Samantha and Traci and Grandchildren Nathan, Jordan, Bethany, Oscar and Zara. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
